Best hash browns ever! Can get crowded but it moves pretty fast. Very satisfying breakfast fare with a full bar!

Wow! Everyone at our table loved this place. We had to call the manager over to tell him how good everything was. Steak and shrimp, shrimp tacos, pork chops, and pot pie. Excellent food and service. Will definitely return.

I got the BLTE, BLT with egg. Delicious, the thick Italian style bread was grilled to perfection. Hubby got the 5 stack of pancakes. Both thumbs up, especially on the cinnamon butter. Breakfast all day, with lots of unique cocktails. We highly recommend the Iron Rooster. Matt the bartender gave us great service.

Food was great. I had stone cut oats with brown sugar and butter and a chocolate strawberry roostart. Staff was very friendly. I ate at the bar and the bartender checked in on me very frequently to make sure I had enough to drink and the food quality was good. I think the price was fair for the area. Overall great experience. Would visit again.

Their system for sitting people is very efficient. They all have headsets and radios. The homemade pop tarts are very good, they're huge though.

Quaint restaurant in the heart of Annapolis. Delicious food, fast service with helpful wait staff. Burger with waffle bun was surprisingly very tasty! Would get 5 stars but upstairs windows were a little drafty on the cold night I visited. Otherwise, if you're not seated near the window on a cold and windy day or evening, it's great!

Food was a 5, however, the service was mediocre and the waitress put all of our happy hour drinks in after 7:00. I got chicken and waffles which was amazing. Unfortunately, after waiting long for everything, I decided to save my breath and leave as soon as I could. Wish the service was as good as the food.

The food was really quite good. More geared to lunch/brunch, but unique and very tasty. The crab cakes (cakes on cakes) were exceptional.Place falls short on decor. The room we ate in felt like a low-key deli type of place-- low celing, windowless, plain furniture. Maybe upstairs/bar room is more elegant. Drinks took a little bit long to come out but were worth the wait. Overall the service was good. Would definitely come back just for the crab cakes and maybe ask to sit in a different area.

Two words. Homemade Poptarts😍🤤😍🤤😍🤤. Delicious and cooked to flaky perfection the Poptarts at this place need to be featured on a tour of the area. The rest of the menu was also great, a variety of options, and quick service. Very friendly staff, great dining area, and over all awesome experience. If your visiting or live here you NEED to check this place out!

Loved Annapolis MD and this place has a home feeling to it. Good food and I had the angry pig. Which is a huge omelette stuffed with lots of meat and cheese. It also has jalapeno peppers in it as well which gives it a bit of a and their home fries or very good 😁😊👍

Overall experience was great. The pop tarts and bubbly were my two favorites. The food pig omelette lack meat and salt and pepper. Bland. The chili was delicious!! We spent over $200 for five adults. I will never eat there again but I would recommend to others. Glad we tried it.

Literally the best breakfast food I've ever eaten. My favorite restaurant of all time. Everything I've ordered eating here is delicious. You won't regret dining here, guarantee it.

3.5. Food was decent. Prices were high but makes sense for what and where it is. Service was good. Ambience was decent. Came at a time when there was not much of a wait. The chicken and waffles were a little dry that the gravy could not make up for.The crab cake pancakes were a little bland in the combination of flavors. The hash was standard but yummy.The nachos were interesting and great.All in all, a little overrated but worth going once.

Loved it. Food was excellent 👌 especially that poptart thing. Unbelievably sweet and toasty. I wish I had our waitresses name, she and the hostess made us feel very welcome. We had breakfast.

25 - 40 minutes wait for a table on Saturday about noon, but was able to snag a bar seat for two. Prices are reasonable, food was good, wait staff was courteous, and food came out quick and hot. Will eat here again! Didn't give 5 stars because hubby's pancakes were overcooked a bit. Need to try the Bloody Mary next time; looks great!

Even if you aren’t hungry...you have got to try their brown sugar pop tart! Goodness their food is so good, staff is friendly, location is great....you’ve just gotta to try this place!! Five stars totally!!

We've been to the Iron Rooster almost 100 times. Just wanted to say how well we've been treated. The staff, management and owners deliver high quality service time and time again. Consistent quality food and service everytime. Great choice for dinner too.

Great place. Breakfast is served all day, but you'll want to check out the rest of the menu. Oh, they make homemade Pop tarts SO much better than store bought. Happy hour drinks and menu are good. Go !!!!

Highly recommend! I am from the west coast visiting Annapolis for the first time in many years. We were looking for a the hot spot for brunch and we found it at Iron Rooster! Loved the pop tart, and drinks were amazing. We will be back next year and Iron Rooster is on out to do list!

Get their handmade pop tarts. So delicious. All their food is amazing and large servings. Service was a bit less than expected, but they were Uber busy and it wasn't horrible. You will likely have to wait. Call ahead as I think you an get on the list before you get there.

Over priced and subpar. They spent a lot of time on the image but missed the mark on the food. It wasn't bad buti t also wasn't good, especially for thevprice.

The food was great. The service was quick and very kind. The food was out to us in about 10 minutes. All around great experience. I will definitely be returning to eat here.

Great place for evening happy hour and great value for money. We sat at the bar and ordered a coupled of drinks plus the fried green tomatoes which were amazing! I would definitely be coming back if I'm ever in the area again.

I had a great experience at Iron Rooster. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was very pleasurable. I got the fried chicken and waffles which were really good. I also got the Oreo Pop-tart. The Pop-tart is a have changer, warm, crunchy, sweet. I will definitely visit again when I'm in Annapolis!

Previously dining at iron rooster, I have had nothing but great Experiences. Unfortunately after ordering carry out today, I will no longer be giving them my service due my food being extremely cold. I was able to order online and get to the restaurant at the exact order time and even saw the employee get the food directly from the kitchen. However, when I got home (which was only a 7 min drive) the food was ice cold and even seemed as though it was never heated through from frozen? Also after ordering on the restaurant website they managed to charge me 8 dollars more than the receipt which included a generous tip. Very disappointed!

Great food. Great people. We had just arrived in Annapolis and were walking around trying to decide which way to go, etc. when a lady walked up and asked us if we needed help. She was awesome! Great ideas on what to do, suggestions on where to eat, but never mentioned her restaurant. Then she mentioned ‘The Iron Rooster’ and that she owns it. She was so cool and helpful that when we saw her place we went in. Everyone was friendly. Our waitress was the sweetest girl. Our burgers were perfect. Atmosphere was just what we were looking for. So happy that we ran into her and if we ever come to the area again, we will eat there again.

The food is as good as it's reputation says it will be. Friendly service. Tasty entrees. Very large portions.

It was my first time there and I was impressed. I was seated quickly, my food came out hot and fast. It was delicious and I can't wait to go back.

A few years ago a colleague told me to try them. Now they are a favorite. Good service. Great job. Love the shrimp and grits!! I eat one there and take one to go.

Ate at the bar on Sunday morning. Great happy, friendly staff. Ordered the Chicken and Waffles and Rancher Benedict. Both 10/10. The bloody Mary was top notch and delicious!

I have been here with one of my dear friends several times - and every time I thoroughly enjoy dining here. From the freshly baked Rooster Tarts to the unique items on the breakfast menu, I enjoy trying sampling their flavors. It's a great atmosphere for all ages - we brought a one year old with us. They have a great kids menu that even includes a mini rooster tart. They also have an authentically cheerful wait staff. I highly recommend dining here.

They were very accommodating of our large group for a Christmas dinner gift exchange. The food was outstanding and prices are very reasonable. We will definitely go back!

The Iron Rooster is fantastic. It's everything you want in a place to eat and drink with a casual bar type setting. I had brunch there and it was great. The bloody Mary was amazing and the crab cake bene was outstanding. You definitely get your money's worth here for portion size and quality of food. I highly recommend. Excellent.

Slightly pricey, but well worth it. Home of the homemade pop-tart or other excellent selections. A must visit when in Downtown Annapolis.

Living in Annapolis, I go downtown a lot. Most places just try to get you in and out with poor quality. Not Iron Rooster. They are quick with great service and great food. I love this place so much. All the staff are friendly and they have great food. Chicken panini is my favorite thing to get and the home made Pop-Tarts are heavenly.

lemon pop tart was delicious, but should have ordered it after breakfast. the crust is a tad thick and filling a tad much but if they even them out t'would be perfect. My French toast were soggy and tasteless. Friend's Farmers Benny were scrumptious. The drop ceiling was gross and needs work and tiles replaced, made me feel sick.

Well 7am on a Saturday is the time to go, no wait at all! Then again that's when they open. Overall it was pretty good. I got the crab hash and it was fine but the crab was kind of over powered by the others ingredients in the hash. The coffee was very good and so was the mixed berry poptart.

My family and I had breakfast here 2 Fridays ago. We got seated faster than anticipated. Our service was very good; server was polite and friendly. Yes, I ate dessert after breakfast. It was Red Velvet Waffles with ice cream. Delicious!

The food was great. The waitress was very snotty and made me feel as though I was a burden to her. But the food was great. I’d go back and hope for another waitress.

This is a fantastic place for breakfast. I got the oreo pop tart and have to say it was one of the most delicious pastries I've had. Beware of lengthy wait times so plan ahead.

Quaint and lovely old building in Annapolis. Breakfast served all day if you like late day breakfast. We enjoyed breakfast and their food is delicious! Great presentation and excellent service. Highly recommend a visit.

Located in the old historic area of Annapolis directly on the harbor, the Iron Roster surprises the palate. Known for serving breakfast all day, they also serve a wide variety of comfort foods made from scratch for lunch and dinner. If you're in the Annapolis area and have the time, it's a place you'll definitely want to visit. They offer seating on the first and second level so reservations are not necessary. Casual attire is acceptable.

Unique little place in the middle of downtown. They seem to be pretty busy but we only had a minimal wait. The menu had a great variety of both breakfast and dinner items. It felt a little overwhelming as there were many items we wanted to try. Our server was friendly and very helpful and made the process of deciding much easier. I had the chicken and waffles along with the berry pop tart. I would recommend both to everyone. The others at the table got items like the tacos and loved them as well. We will be back the next time we are in Annapolis.

This place has amazing food. Whatever you want for breakfast, they have it, from fried chicken and waffles, to eggs Benedict, to homemade pop tarts. Their eggs benedict variations are changing pretty consistently but you can always rely on them being good. Great service, but it does get loud here so if you want a quieter place, I'd find a different store. Their hollandaise sauce is awesome and their waffles are amazing. If you want a fantastic breakfast, this is your place, with amazing coffee, and even better food.

Absolutely excellent food here. I got a breakfast sandwich with eggs and bacon on it and a house made sauce that was delicious. My only complaint is that the drinks were a bit pricey. I recall a very small mimosa being just shy of $10. Not enough to take a atar, though, as the quality was exceptional with these as well. I definitely recommend this place. Just make sure you get a reservation, because they are BUSY. Though with it being right next to the water, it's not exactly the worst place to have to "wait" for a half hour.
